|
In the recent decades solar water heaters are almost used all over the buildings to get the hot water. Solar water heaters most of the time are called “domestic hot water systemsâ€. These systems use the sun to heat either water or a heat transfer fluid, such as water-glycol antifreeze mixture in collectors generally mounted on the roof. The heated water is then stored in a tank similar to a convectional gas or electric water tank. Some systems use an electric pump to circulate the fluid through the collectors. Some water heaters can operate in any climates. Performance varies depending on how much energy is available and how cold the water is coming into the system. Solar water heaters are almost replaced the electric water heaters and geasers. |
