|
This paper presents the effect of surfactant on the physiochemical analysis of waste water. Eight different locations were selected for the study and compared. The parameters studied were pH, total alkalinity, total hardness, total dissolved solids, conductivity, Acidity, free carbon dioxide, metal analyzed are Calcium, Magnesium, Copper , Nickel , Iron. From overall analysis, it was observed that the physico-chemical parameters of the waste water samples studied with the addition of surfactant showed remarkable changes. Metal analysis showed reduction in data which clearly shows that metal formed complexes with surfactant assemblies and surfactants can be used for metal detection.Corelation analysis was also carried out. |
