Composition (0.078 ≤ x ≤ 0.085), frequency (1 KHz – 1 MHz) and temperature (30 – 600 oC) dependence of dielectric constant, loss tangent and dielectric conductivity of [Ta2O5]1-x-[TiO2]x pellets, prepared by solid state reaction method, has been presented. The x-ray diffraction patterns and dielectric constant measurements show the occurrence of high- phase. Among the prepared compositions, dielectric constant was observed maximum for the composition with x = 0.080, at all the measured frequencies and temperatures (except near transition temperature). Dielectric properties were observed dominantly driven by composition rather than the frequency or temperature, in the present system. Dielectric constant was observed slowly increasing with temperature showing strong transition peaks at 495, 505, 510 and 520 oC for the compositions with x = 0.078, 0.080, 0.082 and 0.085, respectively. Dielectric loss and conductivity also show anomalous increase near the transition temperature, for all the prepared compositions. Near the transition temperature, anomalous dielectric behavior may be associated with the softening of the active phonon mode.

Source code plagiarism is a very serious problem in academia. Lot of assignment work in programming courses is submitted electronically by the students. This makes it difficult for the faculty to check each and every code separately. Using a plagiarism detection tool makes it easy to check and analyze student’s assignment. In programming courses, students submit their work in form of java source code files. There is a possibility that students may copy the Java code files from another source without properly crediting the original writer or programmer, intentionally or unintentionally. This is also a form of plagiarism. The main purpose of this paper is to show a method to detect plagiarism in java source code. To do this first it makes all the submitted java codes into a similar pattern by removing comments. Then tokenization is done. Finally the tokens are compared to get the similar portions and are displayed accordingly.

Data mining is the process of identifying patterns from large amount of data. Association rule mining aims to discover dependency relationships across attributes. It may also disclose sensitive information. With extensive application of data mining techniques to various domains, privacy preservation becomes mandatory. It has become a very important area of concern but still this branch of research is in its infancy .People today have become well aware of the privacy intrusions of their sensitive data and are very reluctant to share their information. Association rule hiding is one of the techniques of privacy preserving data mining to protect the sensitive association rules generated by association rule mining. There are many approaches to hide association rule. In this paper Efficient Heuristic approach method is proposed which is more effective to hide association rule. This paper adopts heuristic approach for hiding sensitive association rules. The proposed technique makes the representative rules and hides the sensitive rules. The objective of this algorithm is to extract relevant knowledge from large amount of data, while protecting at the time sensitive information. In this paper we also focused to hide multiple sensitive item without affecting other sensitive items.

In the recent decades solar water heaters are almost used all over the buildings to get the hot water. Solar water heaters most of the time are called “domestic hot water systemsâ€. These systems use the sun to heat either water or a heat transfer fluid, such as water-glycol antifreeze mixture in collectors generally mounted on the roof. The heated water is then stored in a tank similar to a convectional gas or electric water tank. Some systems use an electric pump to circulate the fluid through the collectors. Some water heaters can operate in any climates. Performance varies depending on how much energy is available and how cold the water is coming into the system. Solar water heaters are almost replaced the electric water heaters and geasers.

A computer-based Expert System is one such emerging Information Communication Technology which has great potential to apply in agriculture. Computers and other information technologies are now pervasive throughout the agricultural community. Keeping the importance of Expert System in Extension Service, Paddy Expert System was developed with help of ICAR at TNAU, Coimbatore. There is a need to study the new Paddy Expert System effectiveness among the different categories of paddy growing farmers so as to use it effectively in the extension service system. In this study was conducted (2013) Thoothukudi district of Tamil Nadu, Srivaikundam block was purposively selected for the study because of more areas under paddy cultivation and progressiveness of the farmers in terms of adopted new technologies. Total sample sizes of 105 respondents were selected, accordingly 35 farmers were chosen from each selected villages among different categories of paddy growers by employing snowball technique of sampling. The Before-After Exposure experimental study was conducted with three treatments, namely marginal & small farmers (T1), medium farmers (T2), large farmers (T3), with before and after exposure to the paddy expert system. The required data were collected using structured interview schedule, and observation technique and analysed. The analysis of the three treatments, revealed that mean knowledge gain was maximum with a score of 5.52 among medium farmers (T2), marginal & small farmers (T1) obtained highest mean knowledge related to skill acquisition with the score of 6.77 and it was superior compared to other treatments and majority of the respondents had medium level of symbolic adoption behaviour which means symbolically accepted to adopt and follow the new innovations and technologies on paddy cultivation practices and allied aspects due to exposure the paddy expert system.

The Operational Performance of the Sequencing batch biofilm reactor (SBBR) for treating the Sewage. The Removal efficiency of COD, BOD, TSS and Ammonical Nitrogen were investigated by using Biomedia made of PVC. The experiments were carried out at size 18×15×30 cm with working volume 5–L reactor made from Acrylic sheet. The reactor was operated as SBBR. SBBR was filled with Biomedia to 30 % of the working volume. SBBR were operated at 6h cycling period on a day that consisted of wastewater fill (3 min), reaction (5h), settling (50 min) and draw (3 min). During filling sewage aeration was off. The effect of filling ratio on SBBR performance was determined. In normal operation, average COD removal rate was calculated as 90.14 % SBBR.

In this system it uses node by node custody transfer. If a message is lost and custody is not acknowledged by next node then last custodian retransmits the message. In this paper, propose an efficient scheme that ensures appropriate NCL selection based on probabilistic selection metric. Dynamic shortest path routing algorithm is used to find the path advance to minimize the average access delay. NCL reduces the use of wide area bandwidth.
