By evolution in computer and telecommunication, all kind of data is stored and distributed around the globe. However, transmission of this digital data is not much secured .An issue of copyright of data is always a major concern. Data hiding techniques can help preserving illegal distribution of digital data. In this paper we describe one of the vigorous data hiding technique known as digital audio watermarking, which embeds additional indistinguishable information in the audio signal by using discrete wavelet transform algorithm. The changes recorded by embedding and extracting the watermark are verified and displayed using signal to noise ratio as human auditory system(HAS) is far more complex than human visual system (HVS) so to determine noise introduced in watermark we will show result based on signal to noise ratio(SNR).

Pages: 214 - 219
Food safety and quality problems have become most frequent in India and other countries. Studies have indicated that with increasing awareness consumer today demand safe food. Food Safety and Standard Act is one law ensuring that all the food provided to consumer is safe. Food catering industries need to adhere to food safety standards to ensure safe food to consumers. The studies in pat have indicated the presence of harmful chemicals and pathogens in the various food items especially street food. However, there is a striking paucity of reliable data in quality evaluation and food safety researches in catering organization are very few in India. More research needs to be done in catering organizations to get a clear picture about food safety in these organizations.

Pages: 220 - 223
In this paper the experimental work, where AISI D3 material is machined by using other four edges of CNMG 120408 is explained. In this work, we also compare the scrap edges of CNMG with SPKN 1203 R, which is commonly used in milling. In this work we use a special milling cutter having dia 50mm .The cutter has five pockets & we use the scrap edges of CNMG for milling. We also optimize the influence of the tool on the end results by using Taguchi methodology .The design of experiment used for experiment is L18. In production the tooling cost is very effective due to its high cost. By using scrap inserts & special make tools like milling cutters, boring bars, we are able to reduce the tooling cost. Mostly in industries the welded tool are used for milling & turning or tooling of high cost is used. But by using these scrap inserts we can reduce labor cost as well as tooling cost. Steam jet act as transportation carriers carrying the heat away from the cutting region, and the efficiency of this cooling method largely depends on jet pressure. The input parameters used in this work is Speed, Feed, Depth of cut, Pressure. Four level of input parameters are used i.e. speed (450 rpm, 900 rpm, 2900 rpm), feed (20mm/min, 35mm/min, 65 mm/min), Depth of cut (0.5 mm, 0.75 mm, 1mm). The material used in this thesis is AISI D3 block (60mmx70mm).In this, we analyses the effect of micro Hardness, Surface Roughness and Material Removal Rate (MRR) due to cutting parameters by using Taguchi method. The optimization is done using eighteen experimental runs based on L’18 orthogonal array of the Taguchi method, and are performed to derive objective functions to be optimized within the experimental domain.

This application is an alternative for marking attendance into college by staff. Now a day’s Biometric machine are used to mark the attendance which can be time consuming when there is more number of staff standing in a queue at a same time. This application will make it easy by just login to the system from anywhere in the college .Also teachers can view their schedule on particular day , can send note to student ,mark their attendance and can see the number of student in a class.

Pages: 228 - 235
Even though there are lots of invented systems that have implemented customer analytics, it’s still an upcoming and unexplored market that has greater potential for better advancements. Big data is one of the most raising technology trends that have the capability for significantly changing the way business organizations use customer behaviour to analyze and transform it into valuable insights. Also decision trees can be used efficiently in the decision making analysis under uncertainty which provides a variety of essential results. Hence to the end of this paper, we propose the MapReduce implementation of well-known statistical classifier, C4.5 decision tree algorithm. The paper additionally mentions why C4.5 is preferred over ID3. Apart from this, our system aims to implement Customer data visualization using Data Driven Documents (d3.js) which allows you to build well customized graphics.

Pages: 236 - 241
Recognizing and counting the total number of microorganisms in a particular sample is one of the main task that is performed in biological research and diagnosis field. Usually the procedure for counting the total number of microorganisms is done manually which makes this task more tedious, lengthy as well as error prone. To overcome these drawbacks various algorithms have been presented in this paper that aims to automatically count the total number of microorganisms present in a sample using image processing methods. To achieve this goal object recognition method is used which recognize the microorganisms by their shape. Thresholding technique is also applied to the image containing microorganisms for counting. In last thresholding using morphological operations with object recognition method has been applied which overcome all the drawbacks and count total number of microorganisms automatically.

Pages: 242 - 251
Many industries like Aviation sector, War and general purpose Helmet making industries, War equipment industries use high velocity impact analysis for design purposes .It is very difficult to analyze by experimental set up because of high costing of experimentation and technical limitations of experiments like high velocity cameras, velocity measurement instruments etc, while the use of computer simulation software like Ansys help researchers to analyze these type of problems very easily. The failure of an alloy of AL6061-T6 with composite laminated plates Kevlar-29 and E-Glass are analyzed under high-velocity impact of round tool of structural Steel using the FEM software, ANSYS Workbench 14.5.Two impact velocities of 500 m/s and 700 m/s were analyzed by FEM simulation . It was analyzed that metal alloy of AL6061-T6 is more resistant than various combination of layers of composite plates, only use of combination of composite materials can not be sufficient for overall strength of laminated plate so use of metal alloy is good approach to increase the strength. It was also observed that mass of tool and overall tool dimension play an important role to failure of composite laminated block plate. In this analysis plate thickness was kept constant but combination of plate layer were changed.

A Process having a large number of data affects the Operation. Due to this large augment of data, the industries are struggling to store, handle, and analyse the data. The normal data base systems are not enough to do the above mentioned activities. Then here comes the hadoop technology, In Hadoop the enormous data will be stored and processed effectively and efficiently. Hadoop is the technology which has many frameworks such as data integration, management, orchestration, monitoring, data serialization, data intelligence, storage, integration and access. So hadoop technology is used in which Sqoop tool is used ,it is a command-line interface application for transferring data between relational databases and hadoop . In hadoop scoop is the command line interface used for both Import and export from relational database to hadoop. In hadoop another tool called ambari is used. It is used to simplify Hadoop management processing of huge amount of data. It also works for provisioning, managing and monitoring of apache Hadoop clusters. In this paper the sqoop and ambari frameworks have been analysed with various parameters.

STUDY ON SOLAR WATER BULB-A LITER OF LIGHT

Chemical Engineering
Year: 2015, Volume:1, Issue : 10
Pages: 256 - 259
The solar bottle bulb is made out of a used plastic soda bottle or water bottle, which is filled with water and liquid bleach. The bottle is then fixed into a hole in the roof. While light streaming through just the hole would come in through a single, straight, narrow light beam, the water in the solar bottle bulb refracts the light so that it can illuminate a larger space, 360 degrees around. The bleach keeps the water clean by preventing algae from forming. The solar bottle bulb gives off 55 to 60 watts of clear light, and lasts up to 10 months. This innovative light bulb provides low-income manila households with light - while traditional windows can easily crack or leak during typhoon season or other severe weather, the solar bottle bulb brings even more light in and helps save money and energy. Not only do the bulbs improve the lives of families, but they also improve the future and health of the environment by significantly reducing plastic waste.
