The aim of the present study is to validate the nutritive value of commercially important fishes collected from Mimisal seagrass belt, Tamil Nadu, India. The proximate composition of fishes depends on feed intake. Nutritive parameters which include protein, lipid, carbohydrate, moisture, amino acids and fatty acids content were estimated. Analyses of proximate composition were carried out in the total number of eight edible fishes in seagrass ecosystem. The protein content showed much fluctuation which ranged from 7.66g to 13.33g. The lipid content varied from 1.0g and 1.9g. The amount of carbohydrate was much lower when compared to protein and lipid and range between 0.16g and 0.57g. The average amount of moisture was 79.1%. All 20 amino acids were present in the selected fishes. However, the essential amino acid was found high in Triacanthus bioculeatus and the non- essential amino acid was present highest in Sardinella albella. Out of 20 amino acids, aspartic acid was found predominant. Among the fish the species tested, Upeneus tragula recorded with all amino acids, saturated fatty acids are recorded to be dominant with (54.57g), followed by mono unsaturated fatty acids (23.23g) and poly unsaturated fatty acids (21.03g).

The Online-Examination for Blind People is basi-cally an online examination system. It reflects the justification and objectivity of examination. It helps to release the workload of teachers and students. The current online examination systems do not allow blind people to appear for the examination. Hence, the proposed application is designed for the blind people so that they can appear for examination; it is also useful for the other handicapped people with upper limb disability. This research work provides the speech user interface for blind people to interact with the application. The proposed application will dictate the questions to the candidate with the help of Speech Synthesis. The application will accept the answers from candidates through voice commands using Speech Recognition. The proposed system also allows users (examiners/teachers) to add their questions to conduct the examination. The questions can be added easily by uploading a file. As the proposed system is online, result generation will be quick.

Global biofuel production has been increasing really fast over the last few years, but the recent expanding biofuel industry has raised substantial concerns which need immediate attention. World agricultural markets have featured unusual price peaks and volatility in the last few years. It has been debated that the previously unseen price movements in food prices are related to price of crude oil, where biofuel production is suspected to have created a new link between crude oil and food prices. Rise in oil price would reduce global food supply through direct impacts as well as through diversion of food commodities and cropland toward the production of biofuels. The aim of this paper is to perform systematic analysis of the linkage of biofuel to price of food and oil price.

Fly ash is a waste-by-product which gives a challenge to the environment. Concrete technologists utilized High Volume Fly Ash Concrete in their research. Replacement of cement with 55%, 65%, 75%, and 85% Fly ash was carried out to evaluate the compressive strength of concrete. The results show that the 55% gives the best value on compressive strength after 90 days of curing. On 55% and 65% replacement level Flexural Strength, Impact strength and Rapid chloride penetration test were carried out. The results revealed that the high volume fly ash shows better performance when compared with conventional concrete.

Hence one of such application of robot could be ROBOTIC WAITER. There are many areas of research that could be done for a robotic waiter. In this project we have try to make a prototype of Autonomous Robotic Waiter which will serve the refreshment to the customer. The implementation is done with available resources to reduce the cost of project. The robot used is FIREBIRD 5 ATMEGA 2560 and robotic arm is made by using 3 servo motors.

In various real life applications such as medical image diagnosis, image fusion plays important role. Because of undefined nature of practical imaging systems the capture images or acquired images are corrupted from different types of noises hence fusion of image is an integrated approach where reduction of noise and retaining the original features of image is essential. Here the input to fusion involves set of images taken from different modalities of the same scene; Output is a better quality image. Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) has a wide range of application in fusion of noise images. Although this technique has provided substantial development over more inhabitant methods, this transform faces two major drawbacks, the shift variance and lack of directionality associated with its wavelet bases. These drawbacks have been overcome by the application of a reversible and discrete complex wavelet transform (the Dual Tree Complex Wavelet Transform DT-CWT). This paper is therefore based on the disadvantages of DWT in the field of Image Fusion and overcoming those disadvantages using a modern Image Fusion technique DT-CWT.

In this paper an attempt has been made to study the use of used foundry sand and waste tyre rubber on properties of Self-Compacting-Concrete (SCC) is carried out. Replacement of sand with used foundry sand as 10%, and 15% and replacement of coarse aggregate with waste tyre rubber as 5% and 10% is investigated. The results show that that utilization of used foundry sand and waste rubber tyre will increase the strength of the self-compacting concrete when compared with conventional concrete. But it should not exceed 15% of used foundry sand and 10% of waste tyre rubber.

The current facilities/services of a campus such as requesting for documents, certificates, permissions etc. are fulfilled manually which takes a lot of time. The aim of our project is to develop an E-Help Desk (EHD) for the facilities available in the college campus. This is a web application that can be accessed throughout the campus. Our system can be used to automate the work flow of service requests for the various facilities available in the college campus. This is an integrated system that covers different kinds of sections/departments such as student section, accounts department, exam section, labs, departmental offices etc. Registered users i.e. students will log in to request for service of any of the supported facilities. The different requests will be sent to the concerned facility heads, who are also valid users of the system, who will fulfill the requests. Then the registered users will be notified through email notification about the status of their request.

Intrusion detection is an effective approach of dealing with problems in the area of network security. Rapid development in technology has raised the need for an effective intrusion detection system as the traditional intrusion detection method cannot compete against newly advanced intrusions. In this paper we proposed a feature based intrusion data classification technique. The reduced feature improved the classification of intrusion data. The reduction process of feature attribute performs by DAG function along with feature correlation factor. The proposed method work as feature reducers and classification technique, from the reduction of feature attribute also decrease the execution time of classification. For evaluation purposes, this model is applied to KDD ‘99 dataset.

In internal combustion engines the thermal efficiency is around 30 %, roughly 30% of the fuel energy is wasted in exhaust gases, and 30% in cooling water and 10% are unaccountable losses. Efforts are made to catch this 30 % energy of exhaust gases. If this waste heat energy is tapped and converted into usable energy, the overall efficiency of an engine can be improved. Thermoelectric modules which are solid state devices that are used to convert thermal energy to electrical energy from a temperature gradient and it work on principle of Seebeck effect. This paper demonstrates the potential of thermoelectric generation. A hot side heat exchanger as well as cold side heat exchanger was designed and analyzed. After certain analytical studies it is found that heat exchanger positioned between catalytic converter and muffler has higher surface temperature. Thermoelectric modules of Bismuth Telluride (Bi2Te3) were selected according to the temperature difference between exhaust gases side (between catalytic converter and muffler) and the engine air conditioner evaporator as cold side. A circular heat exchanger with fins was designed and the thermo electric modules were placed on the heat exchanger for performance analysis. The study showed that energy can be tapped from engine exhaust.
