Data Security For Unreliable Clouds Using Reliable Re-Encryption
Ritesh B. Tandel ; Krishnakant Kishor
Computer Science
Year: 2014, Volume:1, Issue : 7
Pages: 158 - 160
Data Security is one of the most critical aspects in a cloud computing environment due to the sensitivity and importance of information stored in the cloud. The risk of malicious insiders in the cloud and the failure of cloud services have received a great deal of attention by companies. This paper is related to data security and privacy. The data owner stores the encrypted data in the cloud, and issue decryption keys to authorized users. Then, when a user is revoked, the data owner will issue re-encryption commands to the cloud to re-encrypt the data, to prevent the revoked user from decrypting the data, and to generate new decryption keys to valid users, so that they can continue to access the data. However, since a cloud computing environment is comprised of many cloud servers, such commands may not be received and executed by all of the cloud servers due to unreliable network communications The above problem can be solved by proposing an instant mailing scheme and sending password to the valid user mobile device, which enables the cloud servers to automatically re-encrypt data based on their internal clocks. The solution is to build a new encryption scheme, by sending instant password to the valid data user through their mail and Short Message on Mobile. Every time there will be a different password such that even though the data user get revoked from the system without the knowledge of cloud server he login again with same password. Key terms : data owner, data user, cloud service provider, instant mailing system and instant short message scheme.

Data mining is the process of extraction of hidden predictive information from the huge databases. It is a new technology with great latent to help companies focus on the most important information in their data warehouses. Web mining is a data mining techniques which automatically discover information from web documents. The amount of data and its dynamicity makes it impossible to crawl the World Wide Web (WWW) completely. It's a challenge in front of crawlers to crawl only the relevant pages from this information explosion. Thus a focused crawler solves this issue of relevancy by focusing on web pages for some given topic or a set of topics. Nowadays finding meaningful information among the billions of information resources on the World Wide Web is a difficult task due to growing popularity of the Internet. This paper basically focuses on study of the various techniques of data mining for finding the relevant information from World Wide Web using web crawler.

Year: 2014, Volume:1, Issue : 7
Pages: 171 - 173
Cloud computing provides a distributed computing environment in which there is a pool of virtual, dynamically scale-able heterogeneous computing and storage platforms. The computing power and the storage are provided as Services on demand to external user over the internet. Cloud computing aims at making computing as a service whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to users who are requesting the service as a utility over a network. One of the key technology which plays an important role in Cloud data-center is resource scheduling. Real time processing on the cloud systems requires to satisfy timing constraints of real time systems. In the scenario of time dependent application deadline misses are undesirable. One of the challenging scheduling problems in Cloud data center is to consider allocation and migration of re-configurable virtual machines (VMs) and integrating features of hosting physical machines. While using the facilities provided by cloud environment in the area of real time processing the challenge is that of meeting the deadlines. A real-time scheduler must ensure that processes meet deadlines, regardless of system load or inherent delays caused by the various components of the cloud environment. One solution to this is by selecting the scheduling policy at run time. In this paper the various Real time scheduling algorithms have performance of real time scheduling policies in cloud system with the dynamic selection of scheduling algorithms with the help of fuzzy logic.

Year: 2014, Volume:1, Issue : 7
Pages: 174 - 177
Real Time Systems are at the heart of industrial automation applications and thus, a time response mechanism is required to be able to implement such systems. This paper presents a survey of Implementing Real Time Systems for industrial automation applications. Recently, PLCs have dominated industrial automation implementations but however, they do present some challenges especially in meeting real time constraints due to its centralized control and cyclically scanned program execution mechanisms. This paper proposes an alternative implementation approach using FreeRTOS platform that can act as a benchmark for time bound services. This would help in having a hybrid system that can work with PLCs and/or where possible replace PLCs for deterministic service delivery.

Pages: 178 - 181
Wind energy is an indirect form of solar energy since wind is introduce chiefly by the uneven heating of the earth’s crust by the sun.The conversion of wind energy in to electrical power can be possible by wind turbine. However, the extent of power generation can vary due to variable wind velocities during the days, place to place, and season to season. This review shows how wind velocity varies as height and power fluctuation which affected by wind velocity. It also shows the impact of extreme gust wind speed variation on active and reactive power of the wind farms. The results show that small wind turbines could be installed in some coast region and medium wind turbines could be installed in the high plateau and some desert regions and utilized for water supply and electrical power generation.

Year: 2014, Volume:1, Issue : 7
Pages: 182 - 184
Sharing, transferring, mining and publishing data are fundamental operations in day to day life. Preserving the privacy of individuals is essential one. Sensitive personal information must be protected when data are published. There are two kinds of risks namely attributing disclosure and identity disclosure that affects privacy of individuals whose data are published. Early Researchers have contributed new methods namely k-anonymity, l-diversity, t-closeness to preserve privacy. K-anonymity method preserves privacy of individuals against identity disclosure attack alone. But Attribute disclosure attack makes compromise this method. Limitation of k-anonymity is fulfilled through l-diversity method. But it does not satisfy the privacy against identity disclosure attack and attribute disclosure attack in some scenarios. The efficiency of t-closeness method is better than k-anonymity and l-diversity. But the complexity of Computation is more than other proposed methods. The k-anonymity method use for preserving the privacy of individuals’ sensitive information from attribute and identity disclosure attacks [1].
