  In the construction, the cost of building materials are rising day by day.the use of alternative material is a partial replace of coarse aggregate in solving part of natural aggregate. The various waste materials are used such as coconut shell, cockle shell, periwinkle shell, foundry sand etc. so here in my project I will use coconut shell waste as replacement of coarse aggregate by different percentage for making concrete of different grade like M-20. Concrete made from coconut shell waste as coarse aggregate will be studied for compressive strength, tensile strength and flexural strength. the percentage replacement will be 0%, 10%, 20% and 30% with natural coarse aggregates and replacement of 10% various size of coconut shell in concrete. the replacement 10% of coconut shell and added coir fibre on high temperature. I will prepare cubes, cylinders, beams and finally slump test, tensile strength test, compressive strength test, split tensile strength test and flexural strength test will be conducted to obtain the results. A large no. of trial mixes are required to select the desired optimum replacement of coarse natural aggregate by coconut shell waste material.

  Ceramic wall tiles are used as building material in the field of construction. Manufacturing of ceramic tiles require different raw material like clay, potash, dolomite, feldspar, talc and different chemicals like sodium silicate, sodium tripoly, phosphate (STPP) in ceramic production. The temperature in the kiln varies from 200.c to 1200.c.this variation of manufacturing; therefore there is a pozzolanic reactivity in such material.In ceramic industry about 5-10% production goes as waste in various processes while manufacturing (this waste percentage goes down if the technology is installed in new units.) this waste of ceramic industries dumped at nearby places resulting in environmental pollution causing effect to habitant and agricultural lands. Therefore using of ceramic waste powder in concrete would benefit in many ways in saving energy & protecting the environment. The cost of deposition of ceramic waste in landfills will be saved.Raw materials and natural resources will be replaced. Which indirectly helps for reducing the greenhouse gas(co2).there is a large amount of carbon dioxide released in the cement production. In this research study ceramic waste powder from ceramic wall tiles industry is used as replacement to cement in concrete in an incremental order like 0%, 10%.20%, 30%, 40%, 50% and 60% by weight of cement in concrete for M 25 grade.

  In this present research Investigation, it is proposed to characterise surface and ground waters collected from the Estuaries-Mangroves of Coringa Mangrove region to evaluate the quality of waters for considering them for various applications. The waters were characterized for physicochemical parameters viz., pH, EC, TDS, TH, Na, K, Ca, Mg, CO3, HCO3, Cl, F, SO4 and NO3. Irrigation parameters like Percent Sodium (% Na), Sodium Adsorption Ratio (SAR),, Kelly’s Ratio (KR) and Magnesium Hazard (MH) were also determined. Metal ion concentrations of Li, Be, Al, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, As, Ar, Se, Rb, Sr, Ag, Cd, Cs, Ba, Ti, Pb and U were analysed for bacterial species for estimating the level of waters were chemically contaminated due to the higher parametric levels of EC, TDS, TH, TA, Ca2+ and Mg2+ indicating the ground waters suitability for drinking and domestic purposes. Lower levels of metal ion concentrations in surface and ground waters indicate the non-toxicity of waters with respect to metals. In addition, Ground Waters were found with bacterial species., Proteus, Bacillus, Staphylococcus indicating the bacterial contamination of waters and hence can cause water borne diseases like diarrhoea, vomiting, fever, Urinary tract infection, hepatic infections, Pneumonia, skin and soft tissue infections. The research findings revealed that the waters were chemically contaminated and also contaminated with bacteria and hence the ground waters are unsuitable for drinking and domestic utilization.

  Present study covers the detailed design, modelling and FE analysis of Backhoe Machine. . Backhoe Loader is the the rear part of the excavator machine. The backhoe loader is used for a wide variety of tasks: construction, small demolitions, light transportation of building materials, powering building equipment and digging holes/excavating, landscaping, breaking asphalt and paving roads. Various loads are applied at the bucket tip and to the boom and digger arm. So it is necessary to analyze the parts assembly to avoid failure while it is in working condition. From static analysis, high stress area can be found out when Backhoe Loader is in different load condition. Also by providing some design changes, stress can be minimized.

  Face recognition from image or video is a popular topic in biometrics research. Many public places usually have surveillance cameras for video capture and these cameras have their significant value for security purpose. It is widely acknowledged that the face recognition have played an important role in surveillance system as it doesn’t need the object’s cooperation. The actual advantages of face based identification over other biometrics are uniqueness and acceptance. As human face is a dynamic object having high degree of variability in its appearance, that makes face detection a difficult problem in computer vision. In this field, accuracy and speed of identification is a main issue. The goal of this dissertation is to evaluate various face detection and recognition methods, provide complete solution for sketch based face detection and recognition with higher accuracy, better response rate as an initial step for video surveillance.

  Jet ejectors are popular in the chemical process industries because of their simplicity and high reliability. They are widely used to generate vacuums with capacity ranges from very small to enormous. Due to their simplicity, constant-pressure jet ejectors that are properly designed for a given situation are very forgiving of errors in estimated quantities and of operational upsets. Additionally, they are easily changed to give the exact results required. The purpose of this project is to optimize the geometry of steam jet ejector used for refrigeration application in chemical plant. Exhaustive survey has been conducted on the influence of geometrical parameters on the efficiency of the ejector as well as critical flow parameters to improve the overall performance. The use of computational dynamics has been widely adopted by researchers to improve the performance of jet ejector. CFD provides detail insights on the flow characteristics, which allows accurately optimizing the ejector geometry. Since the ejector requires single point design for specific applications, using computer simulations early in the design process will significantly reduce the requirement of prototyping trials. Utilizing the benefits the CFD offers, the dimensions of the ejector system has been measured, which will be further utilized to develop a computational domain and perform numerical iterations to obtain fluid flow characteristics. The results obtained through CFD analysis will be used to optimize the geometry of the ejector, to achieve better efficiency by reducing pressure drop across the ejector geometry.

  Luminescent solar concentrators (LSC’s) are evolving cost-effective organic methods for trapping solar energy using the fluorescence property of organic dyes. The study aims in finding a waveguide design for LSC, in different waveguide materials, PC and PMMA in varying dimensions filled with solution of anthracene in heptane with minimum losses. By comparing the output responses, the LSC with the waveguide design of 6 cm x 3cm x 5cm made of the PMMA (3mm thick) is observed to trap more incident radiation than the unaided solar cells. The maximum output current is measured to be 6.10 mA for a source of 40W power which is convincingly higher than 3.21 mA obtained from the unaided solar cell measured with the same source.

Piezoelectric materials are excellent pressure power generation devices because of their ability to couple mechanical and electrical properties. In this study paper we are representing the electrical power generation using human footstep. This is about how we can generate electricity using human’s waste foot energy and applications for the same. When human walk in surroundings some force exerts on surface this force can be used to generate electricity. The idea of converting pressurize weight energy into the electrical energy is possible by Piezo-electric crystal.

  Software testing is a very broad area, which involves many technical and non-technical areas, such as specification, design, implementation, maintenance, process and management issues in software engineering. UCP is an estimation method that provides ability to estimate size from its use case. Researchers had proposed many size estimation techniques. This research paper shows modification of estimating interactive software project size with enhanced use case point. A critical study shows that how we can improve efficiency of original method of size estimation enhanced use-case point. Estimate interactive software project size with Enhanced use case method and stored procedure with transaction will integrated for find the result with more efficient. Calculation of use case point are not difficult main difficultly is in defining use case and actor. UCP gives the measurement of the testing software development project and also ensures complete system documentation. Firstly use case document of project is prepared on the basis of requirement collected and all the factor are determined and analyzed on the basis of their complexity to estimate size.
