Pages: 300 - 307
Renewable Energy Resources are best practices possible today to stand against increasingly risk of climate changes and global warming of the world and the most important sources of such types of resources of energies can be Wind and Solar energies which are most the efficient relatively. These clean power resources are used as in Distributed Generation (DGs) units technology to be defined as newer sources of power, which are in direct relation with the use of micro and smaller in capacity power generating units that are installed in distribution part of each power combined system or all the possible locations that loads and energy consumers are concentrated. Hybrid systems are of different states. One of the practices possible to provide these hybrids is combination of grid connected wind turbines and solar photovoltaic generators that together each could sit instead of the other one in a grid connection state when one of them cannot generate the required electricity for consumption by load properly. Moreover, Solar cells can generate the electricity required in the day while wind turbines can compensate the needs in the night by wind energy. The proposed architecture consists of solar PV and wind energy system. In solar PV system MPPT technique is applied to maximize power output, a boost converter is employed to raise DC voltage and its output is fed to a three phase PWM inverter for converting DC voltage to AC at 50Hz frequency. In wind energy conversion system Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) is driven by two masse drive train based wind turbine with zero pitch angles. Simulation study of the proposed system is carried out with MATLAB Simulink and simulation results are provided.

The main objective of this paper is to design and performance analyses of 16 users OCDMA (optical code division multiple access) encoding system using ultrashort pulses. In optical code division multiple access system, many users share the same transmission medium by assigning unique pseudo-random optical code (PRBS) to each user. O-CDMA systems results to indicate the significant improvement in term of Bit Error Rate (BER) and very high quality factor are in the form of Q-value. Thus the simulations are done in OPTSIM Rsoft tool. In this Optsim to generate the ultrashort pulses using with and without compression techniques.

Gypsum, due to its unique property and pleasing appearance has made it the material of choice in the construction industry. Gypsum products hold a pre-dominant position in the construction space due to their excellent insulation property both thermal and acoustic and effective fire protection. When used precisely with the innovative materials gypsum can develop the ability against moisture penetration and stability towards impact. Several research works have been done on the mechanical property and durability of gypsum under various circumstances. This paper gives an outline of the process of hydration, dehydration and setting of gypsum of the various admixtures on gypsum. This paper is also concerned with the effect of different types of fibres on gypsum products. Moreover, this paper tries to glean out the previous experimental and analytical studies on gypsum that will serve as a tool for future research works. Efforts have been made to summarize all the information available on the topics related to gypsum and suggestions for future work are also presented.

Cell phones and other in vogue versatile wearable gadgets are quickly turning into the prevailing detecting, processing and specialized gadgets in people groups everyday lives. Portable group detecting is a developing innovation in view of the detecting and systems administration abilities of such versatile wearable gadgets. MCS has demonstrated extraordinary potential in enhancing people groups' personal satisfaction, including social insurance and transportation, and in this manner has found an extensive variety of novel applications. Be that as it may, client security and information dependability are two basic difficulties confronted by MCS. In this article, we present the engineering of MCS and examine its one of a kind attributes and focal points over conventional remote sensor systems, which bring about inapplicability of most existing WSN security arrangements. Moreover, we outline late advances in these regions and recommend some future exploration headings.

In this paper we describe the design process of a low cost and portable microcontroller based heart-rate counting and temperature measurement system for monitoring health condition. The raw heart-rate signals were collected from finger using IR TX-RX (Infrared Transmitter and Receiver pair) module which was amplified in order to convert them to an observable scale. The inherent noise signal was then eliminated using a low pass filter. These signals were counted by a microcontroller and displayed on the LCD panel. As well as the LM35 measure the temperature in the form of voltage and it convert into digital form using ADC 0804 and display on LCD. The project is applicable for family, hospital, clinic, community medical treatment, sports healthcare and other medical purposes. Also, fit for the adults and the pediatrics. However, presented method in the developed system needs further investigation and need more functionality, which may be useful to consider advance in future research.

The dawn of the personal computer era gave birth to a new type of criminal the hacker. Development and awareness of technology has led to rapid increase in number of Smartphone users around the world. Today there is a new even more attractive target for hackers to exploit personal information etc. Therefore security of Smartphone is of utmost importance. Misuse of this information may result in privacy breaches and sensitive data leakage. The hacker then uses these records for committing identity theft. Hence to provide security to Android Smartphone we have developed a screen lock. Screen lock can be set by various methods. One such method is pin pattern.

Pages: 336 - 341
Keeping in view problems of cold weather concreting resulting in prohibition of concrete construction activities in author’s native land Kashmir, an attempt to overcome the problem of delayed setting and hardening of concrete leading to frost action and subsequent damage to concrete is made by studying the effect of chemical admixture (sodium nitrite) on early strength development for different grades of concrete. Three Grades of concrete selected for experimental study were M-15; M-20 & M-25.Five samples were prepared in each concrete grade having Sodium Nitrite dosage of 1%, 1.5%, 2%, 2.5% and 3% by weight of cement. The concrete specimens were tested for 3 day, 7 day and 28 day compressive strength and the results obtained were compared with those of normal concrete. The optimum percentage of accelerator that could be used without harming the properties of concrete was also assessed. The results concluded permissibility of using accelerating admixture (Sodium Nitrite) up to 2.5% by weight of cement and also the optimum percentage of accelerating admixture was found to be 2.5% with value of compressive strength being maximum at the age of 3 days and 7days for each grade, thereby validating the optimum dosage arrived experimentally.

Year: 2016, Volume:2, Issue : 12
Pages: 342 - 349
Deep learning is branch of Artificial Intelligence. It has same architecture as neural network but has extra hidden layers. Deep learning had shown more data processing power or capability than the shallow architecture. It had shown more accuracy in results. The Deep network has Restricted Boltzmann machine as basic building block but restricted Boltzmann machine can be used as classifier, feature extractor [1].Today due to modern life style the people have more stress of work, less physical activities, changed eating habits due to this reason people facing many health related problem. The diabetes is one reason behind the death of people. Diabetes may lead to kidney, eye problems heart problem also [2]. Hence it is better to detect Diabetes in early stage to avoid other health risks. In proposed System Deep learning based Restricted Boltzmann machine approach is used to detect whether patient is diabetic or not as Restricted Boltzmann machine is popular for classification and recognition purpose. To detect either patient is having type 1 or type 2 diabetes decision tree technique used.

Civil Engineering
Year: 2016, Volume:2, Issue : 12
Pages: 350 - 356
The use of lime mortars in building material has been increasingly studied due to their low negative impacts on the environment and higher availability on the earth. The use of natural and other forms of fibres have been extensively used as reinforcements of the lime mortar several thousand years ago with the objective of increasing their mechanical performance. Though the introduction of Portland cements have mitigated the use of lime mortars due to their high workability and compressive strength, the application of lime mortar in construction has gained momentum in recent years due to their versatility and eco-friendly nature. Several studies have been done on the usage of fibres as reinforcements to the lime mortars to enhance their performance especially their post cracking behavior. This literature review is mainly on the prominent research works done on the lime based synthetic and natural. This review is a summary of the efforts made to highlight the extensive research works done on lime mortar and thus proves to be an effective tool for promoting further research on these sustainable building materials which orients the building industry to contribute towards the sustainable future.
