The aim of the present research work is to make a safety device in textile fabric roll polishing machine which is used to polish fabric such as sarees, dress etc. Safety is the state of being "safe", the condition of being protected against physical, social, spiritual, occupational, psychological or other types or consequences of failure, damage, or any other event which could be considered non-desirable. We use safety tool like spring loaded pressure plate, belt drive mechanism, roller mechanism. By this safety device or tool, it avoid fatal accidents like crushing and burning of worker’s fingers and palm because of lack of attention during working operation in fabric roll polishing machine. Safety can also be defined to be the control of recognized hazards to achieve an acceptable level of risk. This can take the form of being protected from the event or from exposure to something that causes health or economic losses. It can include protection of people or of possessions. In today’s scenario of textile industry, due to the insufficiency of safety there are many problems occurs in working environment. In fabric roll polishing machine due to accident worker becomes physical handicraft So that safety is very important in every aspect.
